    Ricefield Arts & Cultural Centre is a registered charity and social enterprise for the exploration and promotion of Chinese culture and has an excellent reputation for delivering original and inspiring creative experiences, cultural events and workshops to community groups, public institutions and arts audiences around Scotland.

    We are currently looking to appoint a Treasurer to join our small Board. The Treasurer will be responsible for managing all financial matters on behalf of our organisation and will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation has robust financial processes to ensure it meets its legal and constitutional requirements.

    We also wish to appoint additional trustee(s) to join our small board.

    We’d especially welcome applications from candidates with any of the skills and experience outlined below, desirably with sound knowledge of Chinese arts and culture or someone who has a connection to the Chinese community in Scotland, particularly in Glasgow.

    Do you enjoy spending time with young children and families? Are you looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community? As an Amma Family Volunteer, you’ll be a welcoming presence at our weekly family events — holding babies, playing with children, and helping parents feel supported, loved and connected.

    This is a wonderful opportunity for those who have time to share, love being around children, and want to make a real difference in the lives of families facing challenges.

    Outside of our one-to-one companionship support, Amma runs weekly events for parents and children, including our Amma Family peer support activities and pregnancy group. As an Amma Family Supporter, you’ll provide helping hands to make sure these regular events run smoothly.

    The BARGACREE Café is the on-site café at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice. Open daily from 8.00am to 5.00pm (last orders at 4.30pm), the café welcomes patients, their families, staff and members of the public.

    Guests can enjoy beautiful views of the hospice gardens while dining. Operated by hospice staff and dedicated volunteers, BARGACREE Café is also dog friendly, making it the perfect place to stop after a walk in Bellahouston Park.

    As a Café Volunteer, you'll play an important role in supporting the future of The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice. You'll help provide a warm, welcoming and high quality food and drink service for patients, families, visitors, staff and fellow volunteers. Your support will help ensure the smooth running of the café while creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for everyone.

    FEN is a South Glasgow based women-led feminist cooperatively constituted CIC open to women and other marginalised genders. We use social and activist art to explore how feminist economics relates to women’s lived experience and how these ideas can be put into practice at a local level.

    This would involve supporting the Family Support Worker with advocacy work and ongoing practical and emotional support to families from the global majority (BME), asylum seeking and refugee backgrounds who are experiencing hardship or adversity in an empowering, culturally sensitive and inclusive manner.
