Vacancy: Become SEIN’s new communications + engagement officer
We have an exciting opportunity to join SEIN as the new Communications and Engagement Officer.
We’re looking for someone to join our small team for 14hrs a week to work closely with our Manager to develop, sustain and build the network. Sharing information, in an engaging & accessible manner, is central to the work of SEIN & feedback from our members tells us how much this is valued.
The Communications & Engagement Officer will manage all SEIN communications; keeping the website up to date, keeping our social media channels active with relevant & engaging content and developing promotional materials. A core part of their role will be collating our fortnightly newsletter and writing minutes from our monthly network meetings. They will also develop and manage the SEIN Library and carry out other small administrative tasks.
The post-holder should share the values of SEIN & demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with someone else.
We hope to create a workplace that is caring, supportive and reflective of SEIN’s values. We recognise that the charity and third sector do not always reflect the communities they support, and we are committed to removing the structural barriers that contribute to this. SEIN welcomes applications from people who have faced social, cultural or economic barriers to entering this field.
