Happiness Comes first
Happiness Comes First is a community charity based in the Southside Glasgow that supports families from diverse cultural backgrounds, including migrant and ethnic minority communities.
Our work focuses on creating safe, inclusive spaces where children, parents, and carers can connect, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging. We promote cultural diversity and integration through family fitness activities, music, dance, cultural celebration events, and inclusive wellbeing programmes.
Our sessions encourage families from different backgrounds to share traditions, learn from one another, and build supportive community relationships. We also provide inclusive activities for children with additional needs and support parents who may feel isolated.
By bringing people together through culture, physical activity, and community engagement, Happiness Comes First helps strengthen families, improve wellbeing, and build stronger, more connected communities across the Southside of Glasgow.
